DIY : Mason Jar Seashell Candles Sneak Peek and Supply List!

Welcome back to this segment of MissPlanIt!
I’m so excited we are continuing our journey through beach wedding centerpieces, because
its SUMMER TIME! So it is time for us to get those wonderful outdoor beach weddings all
ready to go. For this segment we are going to be doing mason jar seashell candle holders.
So I purchased mason jars from my local dollar store. These were originally $3.29 and I got
them for 60% off! I love a coupon! So I will be using two of these for our project today.
Next, we will be using pillar candles. These are 3×6 Ivory, pillar candles and there original
price was $5.99 but the coupon said that we are going to actually pay $2.49 for them.
Finally I have my smaller pillar candles 3×3 Ivory pillar candles and again they were also
on sale. The original price being $5.99. We have are trusty E6000 glue. It adheres to
everything and we need it always. Make sure you pick up a tube. We are going to be using
our Jute or Yute yarn or twine rather. Then we are going to be using our wonderful sand.
It was originally $2.49 and I promise you that I did not pay that. I like this particular
brand. It comes from Hobby Lobby. Its the Treehouse Studio brand, because it has irradecent
quality to it, and you will see that in a later segment when we set the table. We are
going to be using our natural Sisal and this is 3-ply Sisal that was original $3.99 without
a coupon, and its 50 feet worth. We have our spray adhesive. I love spray adhesive! This
can was $5.99 at my local craft store. Of course I alway have a coupon for it. We need
2 types of seashells. What ever ones you particularly like. These are just a smaller seashell from
Hobby Lobby for $3.99 for the entire bag. There are a lot in there, probably close to
50 to 60 shells per bag. We will only use a small portion of that. Then I’m actually
using star fish as an accent on my seashell candle holders and this bag of star fish was
originally $1.99, and they were just purchased at my local craft store. I believe it was
at Micheals I purchased them. Finally I got these jumbo tea lights , we got 3 tea lights
for a$1.19 at the dollar store. I will also be setting it on my trusty round mirror..
Now you can pick any shape the you want. I just prefer round. My round mirror that I
purchased at Hobby Lobby at 50 % off. Then finally grab your glue gun. Glue guns are
your friend. Make sure you have it handy. You never know when your gonna need your glue
gun. So I am going to give you a moment to gather all of your supplies. You come right
on back, and lets get ready to make our Seashell Candle Holders! See you in a few.
