Don’t Allow Fear to Steal Your Confidence and Inner Security


Hi everyone this is Sara Regester with Directions 4 Wellness and today we’re talking about fear. I wrote quite a long

insight about your fear do check out the blog. But I wanted to share with you that
fear will always be present when we’re in the unknown. When there’s something
we’re navigating, a transition or a change we’re making that we will always
feel that fear is part of our natural human being state. That the fear is there
to really keep us safe and whether it’s perceived or true danger it’s all about
how we keep fear with us so that we can pay attention so that we can see what
needs to be seen so that we can learn from the opportunity from experiencing
whatever that unknown space is. And so it’s important to recognize that we
don’t want to deny our fear, we don’t want to let fear take over because then
we’ll be stuck and not moving forward and really missing opportunities to grow
into new opportunities. But fear is our companion. We want to acknowledge the
fear. We want to just recognize it’s there with us on the journey and that
fear is going to keep us safe to help us really be alert to stay present and to
grow from the little steps we take to engage that unknown space so that we can
actually gain more confidence and more inner security from learning more about
it and actually having an experience in whatever that fear is provoking. And so I
encourage you if you are getting stuck by fear or fear is creating that
resistance where it puts you into all of your sabotaging patterns of
